Snug As a Bug Baby Massage Courses
The course is run by Kelly Laher, a Certified Infant Massage Instructor who is trained and accredited by the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM).
Courses run for 4-6 weeks, with each session lasting for 60-90 mins (depending on number of attendees) covering the course material as well as time for coffee, cookies and a chat! It's a relaxed and friendly vibe where babies can be babies (i.e they can feed, sleep, poo, cry etc). So there's no need to worry if your baby will 'behave' in the class.

Each week the course material covers theory, practical massage strokes, and a discussion topic (eg feeding, sleeping) to share experiences and learn from the other parents in the group.
The theory covers conditions for massage, reading baby's cues, understanding your baby's behavioural states and crying.
The practical covers massage strokes for the legs, arms, chest, stomach, face, back as well as gentle movements.
Each week there is an opportunity to build on what was covered the week before and the final week is a consolidation of all the previous weeks.
The course is suitable from newborn to 1 year, although its ideal to do up to crawling age.
Please note currently my offer is focused on private classes - especially for couples to attend together with their baby/babies.
If you have any questions or concerns about attending the course with your baby please do get in touch and I will do my best to offer guidance and support.
